Broadcasters have been using its predecessor PUC as PC termination to professional audio: as interface to digital or analog mixers, to near field monitors, level meters and to microphones (in conjunction with a mic preamp).

PUC’n’Play has become a synonym for the simplest way of installing a soundcard by simply plugging in the USB cable. PUC2 has kept this typical Yellowtec feature of its predecessor while improving audio quality to deliver up to 24 bit/192 kHz.AES-3 is no option any more but the standard interface of every PUC2 soundcard.

The modular design enables us to deliver varying interfaces for the back. The analogue line input/output module is ready. It provides professional levels +15/+18dBu full scale. The microphone input module with 48V phantom power and up to 60dB gain will follow in May 2009 dissolving the need for additional mic preamp equipment.
